The little town of Alos de Balaguer was delightful. The people were friendly and welcoming. Plan to take some time and wander through the maze of streets. The apartment was a welcome retreat after a long day of hiking and exploring the area. We enjoyed being able to cook most of our own meals.

Fantastic stay at Les Golfes. The location is extremely peaceful-you can hear the river/birds from bed. The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos; it’s cozy and has everything you need. The hosts were very helpful and everything went smoothly. Very impressed and would 100% recommend!

que se encuentra a media hora en coche de Alòs de Balaguer.

Esta ha sido la segunda vez que he pasado las vacaciones en les Golfes del Molí. La primera vez fue en 2017 quince días. El apartamentos está muy limpio y es muy acogedor. La piscina del pueblo es tranquila y se está muy bien. Hay muchas cosas para poder visitar y hacer excursiones. Calidad y precio inmejorable. Y que decir de los propietarios siempre atentos a todo. Gracias Joan y Carme por vuestras atenciones siempre es un placer. Estoy segura que nos volveremos a ver. No cambiéis.

En aquests moments hi estem. Lloc molt senzill amb totes les comoditats. El poble súper tranquil i la piscina a 150 metres. L'atenció de la Carme immillorable. Si el que és vol és desconnectar, no us ho penseu.

Estancia estupenda a orillas del Segre
Hemos estado 4 días en un apartamento muy cómodo a orillas del río Segre en un pequeño pueblo. Las vistas desde el apartamento, estupendas, muy luminoso, equipamiento muy completo, menaje completisimo, leche y café para el desayuno, leña para la chimenea. Una gozada. Por poner una pega, creo que sería mucho más acogedor con alguna alfombra. Lo único que nos resultó incómodo fue que no había ninguna estantería, balda o mueble dónde dejar cosas en el baño. Por lo demás, perfecto

s'està convertint en un trekking molt popular. Aquest és adequat
per qualsevol persona que li agradi caminar.
Beautiful apartment in a nice quiet village
The apartment was super nice and clean upon arrival, and easy to find. Carmen and Joan were very nice to deal with and very helpful. Alòs de Balaguer is a very nice little village and very quiet, in the middle of all the climbing areas we wanted to go to. We stayed for two weeks, and although it meant lots of driving, it made for a great place to call home base.

Superb apartment, very well equipped in a quite village. You can reach all main climbing crags in an hour by car. The host is very nice and helpful. They gave us directions to the shops and main attractions.

Lloc ideal per perdre's. Benvinguts a la Catalunya interior.
L'apartament té tot el necessari per passar-hi uns dies de relax. Disposa de llar fe foc que reanima quan fa fred de veritat. També disposa de wifi ( per si no deaconectem). Rutes pels seus voltants i vies pels amants de l'escalada. Els amos molts atents i simpàtics. Responen tot seguit davant qualsevol problema. Preus econòmics.
Hem estat molt bé en un lloc que ha estat tal com ens esperàvem. La comunicació ha estat molt bona, sempre a punt de les nostres possibles necessitats. Recomanem a qui vulgui conèixer aquesta zona que hi faci estada.

Fantastic apartment and brilliant hosts..
The apartment was really beautiful, and set in a very peaceful street in a quiet village. It was very comfortable - central heating and a wonderful log fire kept us warm even when it was freezing outside.
Very considerate and understanding hosts - the apartment was perfectly clean and had everything we needed for our stay - and more!
We were based here for climbing and could reach many crags within a 30 minute drive, would definitely stay here again, the only thing that could have been better was the weather...

Nice apartment in a great spot, the apartment was well equipped for cooking and the fireplace was great, also lovely bottle of wine on arrival was really appreciated! Your not far from alot of very good climbing, and only 1.5hrs drive from Barcelona airport so makes for a great winter climbing trip.

The host was very good in communicating all we needed to locate the apartment. The location is very tranquil in a beautiful traditional village. Gentle walks along the river in gorgeous countryside add to the restoring boost from the apartment's facilities and welcoming bottle of wine. Good location for climbing some 1/2 km from the house so pleasant walk and others close drive. Rest days filled with walks, sight seeing or pleasant restoration. Highly recommended. Highly likely to return.

We had a beautiful stay at the "Les Golfes del Moli", under the roof of the mill, a very comfortable, clean and perfect place. It was very quiet, only the church bells, the creek or birds you can hear in the night. In the near mountains, castel, walking on the river, walking through the mountains and a nice villages. The restaurant is open on weekend, but only afternoon. Very recommendable. We would come back very much.
Nuestra estancia en la casa ha sido estupenda, el lugar ideal para desconectar, descansar o probar las múltiples ofertas de excursiones de la zona. La casa está muy bien equipada y limpia y Joan y Carme te ayudan en todo... Lugares que visitar, donde comer, comprar...en resumen perfecto.
Fantàstica setmana la que tot just hem gaudit a Alòs de Balaguer, zona que no coneixiam i que ens ha sorprès molt gratament.
L'apartament perfecte, molt tranquil, ampli, totalment equipat i a un preu més que raonable, a més a més, al restaurant El Molí que hi ha just al costat es menja d'escàndol! :-)
Recomanat al 100%. Tornarem ;-)

Appartement tout confort et propriétaires très disponibles !!!
Dépaysement total et surtout le calme.
L'appartement est très confortable (notamment pour la literie !!!). Il est très spacieux, très propre.
Les draps et serviettes sont fournis, ils sont changés toutes les semaines.
Pour un séjour dans les Pyrénées Catalanes, il est idéalement situé si on veut également faire un saut à Barcelone qui se situe à moins de 2 heures de route. Plusieurs randonnées sont possibles depuis le village avec des points de vue magnifiques.
Petit plus, le restaurant El Moli situé juste à côté. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et malgré la barrière de la langue on arrive à se faire expliquer le menu.

Charming village, great for climbing
We spent five days climbing in the area. The appartmen is well kept, clean and nice. The village is charming with old buildings and narrow alleys. The owners, Joan and Carme are very considerate and provided us with lots of information and even maps on where to shop, eat etc. The shops are quit close in the town of Artesa de Segre. With Joans and Carmes help everything functioned perfectly.
Alos de Balaguer is very quiet and offers beautiful walks and great climbing. The nearest single pitch routes are just a few minutes away with good variety of easy and difficult climbs. The nearest multi-pitch climbs (about 150-200 meters) are also very close at Pic de Castellas. You don't need to buy a topo book of routes since there are multiple topos available in the net. Some routes have loose rocks though.
Alos de Balaguer is close to a lot of other climbing areas, such as Camarasa, Sant Llorenç de Montgai Cubells and Villanova de Meia. All these areas also have great climbs with short access, like 0-15 minutes from the car. There is a camping area in Sant Llorenc de Montgai but the Les Golfes del Montsec is in my opinion much nicer since it is real house. During the summer there is swimming pool with a bar at the village. If you drive to the Pyreness you can do canyoning with a group like we did. That was a lot of fun.

Sehr schöner Kletterurlaub!
Wir waren 2 Wochen in Alòs de Balaguer um in die katalonischen Klettergebieten kennenzulernen. Das Appartment hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alle Nötigen Sachen (Geschirr, Waschmaschine, TV....) sind vorhanden und funktionieren. Das Apartment ist in einem sauberen und gepflegten Zustand. Die Vermieter sind sehr Gastfreundlich und Sprechen sehr gut Englisch, unsere Wünsche wuren immer erfüllt. Alle online Angaben sind korrekt! Im Prinzip das pefekte Apartment für den preisbewussten Kletterer, leider sind die richtig guten Klettersektoren nicht per Fuß zu erreichen.
